Work Day at Hooper Pond

Work Day at Hooper Pond

The Androscoggin Land Trust has a variety of opportunities for you to consider:

Preserve Steward: Adopt an ALT preserve to care for. The stewardship duties will vary at each preserve, but may include help with trail maintenance, visitor information, posting signage and trash pick-up.

Easement Monitor: Help us monitor our conservation easements each year by walking easement properties to look for changes or disturbances.

Event Planner/Presenter: Provide outreach assistance by helping with an ALT event such as our annual meeting, Source to the Sea Canoe Trek, or a fundraising party. We are also always looking for individuals who can lead a field trip or give a presentation.

Artist/Writer: Contribute your artwork, photography or writing skills to our newsletter, brochures, website, press releases, etc. This is great way to get public recognition for your skills.

Fundraiser: You don’t have to be an expert, just dedicated! We are looking for folks who could help with grant writing, gift solicitations, corporate sponsors, and membership development.

These are just a few of the opportunities available to help the ALT continue to provide land conservation and stewardship services within our local communities.

Please contact us today to learn more about these opportunities and other volunteer needs we have.
