July 19 Lewiston Auburn Paddle After Hours

Join the Androscoggin Land Trust (ALT) after work on July 19th to kick off our summer paddling series. We will paddle the Androscoggin River in downtown LA starting at 5:30 PM. We will launch from the boat access behind Festival Plaza. This will include a tour of the h...istoric riverfront, up to the Great Falls and into and around the canals of Lewiston. After the paddle we will be hosted by Gritty's for free light appetizers and cash bar.

The summer paddling series of the ALT is presented by Center Street Dental, with additional sponsorship from the Hilton Garden Inn Auburn Riverwatch, Austin Associates, Northern Insurance Group, and Lewiston Auburn Magazine.

Rentals will be available on the night of the event through the newly opened Lewiston Auburn Canoe and Kayak Rental. You can reserve in advance by calling Darryn Dushane at (207) 841-2997. A portion of rental proceeds will go to support the Androscoggin River Greenway project of ALT.
