February 18-Snowshoe Hike of Barker Mill Trail and Sherwood Forest Conservation Area

The Androscoggin Land Trust, will host a snowshoe hike that will begin at the Barker Mill Trail and travel into Sherwood Forest Conservation Area on Saturday, February 18 from 10 a.m. to noon. A local LA Trails volunteer will lead participants of all ages along all-season trails with mild gradients and highlight the walking and hiking opportunities in this area of Auburn. There will be hiking regardless of the weather or amount of snow, and it will last approximately two hours, depending on the ability level and desire of the participants. Please bring your own snowshoes if you have them and dress appropriately for the weather. A limited number of snowshoes which must be reserved in advance will be available to borrow for this hike compliments of Maine Inland Fisheries and Wildlife.
