Volunteer with the MCC at the Androscoggin Riverlands
August 9, 2011
The Maine Conservation Corps is continuing work this summer at the Androscoggin Riverlands; a property first conserved by the early founders of ALT. ALT's work continued over the last 15 years at the Riverlands, including the first Master Plan, initial trail layout, and the creation of the Homestead Trail.
With its designation last year as a State Park, the Maine Department of Conservation is playing a more active role in trail maintenance, including upcoming work days on August 9th and 10th.
