10th Annual Chief Worumbo Androscoggin River Race, Lisbon
This fun-for-the-whole-family race is a popular summertime event for amateurs and skilled paddlers alike.

2008 Source to Sea Trek begins July 6 at Lake Umbagog NWR. Trek participants will paddle through the ALT service area on the following days:

  • 16 Wednesday, Dixfield to Riley Dam
  • 17 Thursday, Riley Dam to Livermore, Pine Island
  • 18 Friday, Livermore to Twin Bridges, Turner
  • 19 Saturday, Twin Bridges to Center Bridge, Turner (am); Center Bridge to Gulf Island Dam (pm)
  • 20 Sunday, Lewiston to Auburn "Adventure Day"
  • 21 Monday, Auburn to Durham Boat Ramp
  • 22 Tuesday, Durham to Lisbon Falls
  • 23 Wednesday, Lisbon Falls to Brunswick
  • 26 Saturday, 7:30-8:30 registration

Emily's Run
The second event of the Greater L-A Triple Crown 5K Series. The course begins at the Edward Little High School track and winds around Park and Gamage avenues in Auburn.

Stewardship Day with Maine Geocaching Association at Alexander-Harkins Preserve in New Auburn.
Help us maintain the trails at this beautiful in-town preserve, and learn about geocaching with local enthusiasts!

24 Sunday, 7:30-8:30 am registration
10th Annual LA Trails 5k Bridge Run
The third leg in the Greater L-A Triple Crown 5K Series celebrates its 10th anniversary as a much-loved riverside community event. The course begins and ends at the Rollodrome in New Auburn.
